Floral Care Guide
Here are a few tips and tricks to help extend the life of your fresh floral.
1. Make sure your flowers have fresh, clean water. Certain varieties drink more water than others, gauge the water levels and top off your arrangement when needed.
2. Keep your arrangement in a cool environment and away from direct sunlight. Heat speeds up the blooming process, so any amount of time in the sun will likely shorten the life of your arrangement.
3. Give flowers a fresh snip. After a few days the ends of flowers will seal themselves up. Trimming the ends of your stems can extend the life of your arrangement by allowing the flower to drink more water.
Potted Care Guide
All plants have unique needs to keep them at their best. Below are some of the most popular plants we offer and best practices to protect your investment.
-
Orchids
Most orchids require water once a week. Avoid over watering as this can lead to root rot. Position your orchid in a bright windowsill facing east or west. Weekly feeding with a fertilizer designed for orchids.
-
Myrtle Topiaries
Keep myrtle topiaries in a room that receives plenty of sun. Water consistently. We recommend misting leaves and moss daily. The soil should be damp but not stay wet. Heating systems can dry out the plants. If leaves curl or drop, your plant was dry for too long. Toss it, as myrtles rarely survive once they've completely dried out. To keep your desired shape, prune the leaves with sharp, clean shears.

Ferns
As houseplants, ferns prefer plenty of indirect or dappled light, warm, humid conditions, and moist, well-drained soil.
